There are no Easter parties or Easter events this year in Singapore due to COVID-19 situation. All of us are advised to stay home and stay away from crowded places.
I was walking home with Daughter today on her last day of school before the ‘circuit breaker’ measures for schools kicked in when she told me her teacher gave her a dinosaur egg filled with little dinosaur erasers. She was so happy and asked if she could do an easter egg hunt at home.
Oh! She gave me a good idea on how to keep her occupied during the next few days which coincide with Easter Sunday…
Before the indoor Easter egg hunt, you will need some eggs to decorate. You will probably need one or two days before the hunt to decorate the eggs. Decorate them by dyeing them with food colouring, painting and drawing on them or even stick their favourite stickers on them. There you go! Another activity to keep them busy.
As eggs are so precious during this time, try to find those plastic eggs that comes out from those toy egg machines. You can make it more interesting and fun for them by filling the eggs either with clues to follow or puzzles to solve.
