Lower Seletar Reservoir

Lower Seletar Reservoir Park has a Family Bay with a new performance stage, a water play area, a bioswale rain garden, as well as a Heritage Bridge. The park is also popular venue for kayaking and dragon-boating.

Tree Top Walk
Rifle Range Rd, Singapore 578775

Great to attempt with older kids. It’s a long walk with few rest stop in between. The distance to the entrance of the TreeTop Walk is approximately 4.5 km (1.5 – 2 hr walk) from MacRitchie Reservoir Park and 2.5 km (45 mins – 1 hr walk) from the car park at Venus Drive. A round trip including the TreeTop Walk is about 7 km to 10 km (3-5 hrs depending on your walking pace).

 

Telok Blangah Hill Park

This is a great place to start to experience the Henderson Waves and Forest Walk. There are also a great skyline view of the city from the Terrace Garden and plenty of opportunities to sport a squirrel, butterfly and a variety birds.

Telok Blangah Hill Park is part of the Southern Ridges, which also comprises Mount Faber Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Nature Reserve.

 

MacRitchie Reservoir

This is a 12-hectare green haven with many natural trails and boardwalks. It’s a great place for hiking and kayaking.

Coney Island Park
Punggol Promenade Nature Walk, Singapore

This 50 ha park houses a wide variety of habitats, including coastal forests, grasslands, mangroves, and casuarina woodlands.
It’s a good destination to cycle to from Punggol Promenade.

Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park Pond Gardens

This is the side of Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park with the  water playground and playgrounds! There are also lots of nature to see and explore here, not to mention the lovely Grub restaurant which serves yummy food.

The children’s water playground in Pond Gardens is in operation from Thursday – Sunday; 8am to 11am and 4pm to 8pm.

Sentosa

Getting There

Blk 210 Petir Road – At the end of the carpark, there is a service road leading to the top of the hill. Walk all the way up to the top and down slightly.

Blk 201 Petir Road – Take Bus no. 966 and 700 and stop at Blk 202 Petir Road.  The flight of stairs behind Blk 201 leads to our farm. Just walk up and keep to the right side all the way. You’ll see our farm as you descend

Sungei Buloh

130-hectare Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is the largest mangrove forest in Singapore and became Singapore’s first ASEAN Heritage Park in 2003. Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve extension open in Dec 2014 which make it more accessible for families with kids.

Places to check out include the Junior Adventure Trail, Visitor Centre, Viewing Pods, Mid-canopy Walk, Coastal boardwalk, Forest Trail, Mudflats (only visible during low tights)

Visitors can access the new extension via a new entrance to the reserve at Kranji Way

My Water Way@ Punggol
My Water Way@ Punggol, Singapore

Walk, Cycle , Enjoy the Scenery! This long stretch with a great view is near Punggol Waterway Park and you can cycle via the park connector to Punggol Promenade (approximately 20 mins on a bicycle ) where there is food, bicycle rentals and a couple of unique pond with lots of tortoise.

 

 

Labrador Nature Reserve

This nature reserve by the sea has  a jungle trail, gun emplacement from 2nd world war, big grass patch and sand playground for kids and a replica of Dragon Teeth Gate, a rock that served as navigational aids to ancient mariners. There is also Bukit Chermin Boardwalk which will take you to the Marina at Keppel Bay.
