Admiralty Park

An urban park with a woodland-themed playground with tree-stump steppingstones, kids-only treehouse and woobly bridge and a slide that looks like a log.

Lower Seletar Reservoir Park has a Family Bay with a new performance stage, a water play area, a bioswale rain garden, as well as a Heritage Bridge. The park is also popular venue for kayaking and dragon-boating.

Great to attempt with older kids. It’s a long walk with few rest stop in between. The distance to the entrance of the TreeTop Walk is approximately 4.5 km (1.5 – 2 hr walk) from MacRitchie Reservoir Park and 2.5 km (45 mins – 1 hr walk) from the car park at Venus Drive. A round trip including the TreeTop Walk is about 7 km to 10 km (3-5 hrs depending on your walking pace).

This is a great place to start to experience the Henderson Waves and Forest Walk. There are also a great skyline view of the city from the Terrace Garden and plenty of opportunities to sport a squirrel, butterfly and a variety birds.

Telok Blangah Hill Park is part of the Southern Ridges, which also comprises Mount Faber Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Nature Reserve.

This is a 12-hectare green haven with many natural trails and boardwalks. It’s a great place for hiking and kayaking.

This 50 ha park houses a wide variety of habitats, including coastal forests, grasslands, mangroves, and casuarina woodlands.
It’s a good destination to cycle to from Punggol Promenade.

There is a free indoor playground for kids with Alice in Wonderland theme at level 2 of the West Wing and an interactive water fountain play area at Level B2, East Wing as well as a wet and dry outdoor playground at Level 2.

There is also a big times book store with a junior section where kids and browse and play games.

This is the side of Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park with the  water playground and playgrounds! There are also lots of nature to see and explore here, not to mention the lovely Grub restaurant which serves yummy food.

The children’s water playground in Pond Gardens is in operation from Thursday – Sunday; 8am to 11am and 4pm to 8pm.

DBS Singapore Gallery and UOB Southeast Asia Gallery is free for Singapore Citizens/ PRs and Children (6 years and under and cost $20 for a standard ticket for Non-Singaporeans.

This park, also known as “Tiger Balm Gardens” has been around since 1937 and is where you can find over 1,000 statues and 150 giant dioramas that depicts Chinese mythology, folklore, legends, history, and illustrations of various aspects of Confucianism. The name in Chinese -“虎豹別墅” literally means Tiger and Leopard Villa. Great for education kids about Chinese Culture but be sure to watch the little ones and bring mosquito repellents.

This library has a very big children section and lots of programs targeted a kids. There is also a Cafe for the hungry kids.

This library has an entire big basement dedicated to the kids! Which is great when the kids get a little restless.

This children library has a section call the children’s Reading Park is specially designed for kids. There is Enchanted Tree, a display area for children to indicate their favourite books; the Windows to the World,which feature thematic displays on people, places and events around the world; the reading corner, an area which encourages bonding between parent and child through reading together; and Expressions by Children, an area which showcases children’s art works and other creative projects.
