Museum admission is free for all on New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year, National Day, Hari Raya Puasa, Deepavali and Christmas Day.

Sembawang Park is a 15 hectare park at the end of Sembawang Road.
There is a Jetty, Boardwalk overlooking the sea and a battle ship playground for kids 6-12. The Battleship Playgound comes with what looks like gun turrets and propellers. There are also plenty of rope ladders and rock climbing walls

Lower Seletar Reservoir Park has a Family Bay with a new performance stage, a water play area, a bioswale rain garden, as well as a Heritage Bridge. The park is also popular venue for kayaking and dragon-boating.
This is a great place to start to experience the Henderson Waves and Forest Walk. There are also a great skyline view of the city from the Terrace Garden and plenty of opportunities to sport a squirrel, butterfly and a variety birds.
Telok Blangah Hill Park is part of the Southern Ridges, which also comprises Mount Faber Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Nature Reserve.

It’s a good destination to cycle to from Punggol Promenade.
