March and April  holidays is coming in less than a month! No school for the kids? Perfect opportunity to expose them to activities that they normally do not engage in. Or get a jump-start on the academic stuff to prepare for the rest of the year. We have researched on the best activities to keep the kids occupied.

Try different sports and learn cooking

Camp Asia offers fun and exciting activities from art and craft to sports during the school holidays. There are multi-activity camps and specialist camp, such as the Sports Star Camp and Super Chef for children aged three to 11 years old.

For: Kids 3 -11 years old
Where: Stamford American International School or Australian International School
Duration and Time: 5 Days. 9am -3pm. 31st March to 11th April 2014 at the Australian International School and 14th to 18th April 2014 at Stamford American International School

 Decorate Cupcakes with 3D Fodant

Kids get to decorate their own cup cakes with 3D fondant

 Learn about Sound

Singapore Science Centre’s March In!is a sound theme event where kids and adults alike can learn about sound through a series of special exhibits, workshops, sound shows and guided tours.

Be a Master Inventor

At WondersWork kids get to become Master Inventors who save the world against the evil by building various lego robotics and inventions using raw materials to overcome the challenges.
For: Kids age 4 and up
When: 17th – 20th or 24th – 27th March 2014 12-3pm or 3.30-6.30pm

Make a Terrarium

Happy Willow have a holiday camp were kids can make and bring home their very own Terrarium & a Rainbow Loom bracelet in addition to fun and games and unlimited play at the indoor playground.
For: Kids age 4 to 9
When: Mon 17 Mar or Thurs 20 Mar 2014, 10am to 3pm
$$$: $70 per child.

Sleep with Dinosaurs!

As part of ArtScience Museum’s engaging lineup of programmes for the March school holidays, the museum will hold a sleepover, Dinosnores! A Sleepover with Dinos
For:
Children aged 6 to 12 years.
When:
16 and 21 March 2014.
$$$: S$120 for each child participant and free for the accompanying adult.

Brush up on Chinese Before School Starts

Skylace Language School have a composition and oral class were children can practice reading aloud, picture description, learn and practise writing by step by step guidancem oral discussion. They will also learn to use beautiful phrases, idoms and adjectives in their writing.

For: Primary 1 -4 kids
When: 17-21 March 10.30am-12.30 pm

Enjoy a Bilingual Pirate Week

Kids’ Gallery Singapore is having a  Pirate Theme holiday programme where kids get to take a trip to the Port of Lost wonder, painting a map, music and cooking.
