Here are some programs and activities we like for  kids in kindergarten,  preschools and primary school.

April Camps, Classes and Programs

Happy Willow and 3 on tree Exhibition

Unlimited play for usual play rates. (Meaning the kids can play there all day.) There are also activities like story-telling, craft and games at 10.30am and 4pm conducted daily on weekdays. There will also be an exhibition on by 3 on tree. The exhibition titled “Animal’s Tales” featuring a series of a beautiful and quirky pieces starts 6 April. Camp Asia

Camp Asia offers fun and exciting activities from art and craft to sports during the school holidays. There are multi-activity camps and specialist camp, such as the Sports Star Camp and Super Chef for children aged three to 11 years old.

For: Kids 3 -11 years old

Centre Stage

Centre Stage have a variety of sing, dance and acting holiday programs for various age group. We like the Les Miserables program where kids get to Sing and act out scenes of the famous musical. There are also hip-hop and ballet

March Camps, Classes and Programs

Enchanted Balloon Garden at City Square

Kids aged 5 – 12 years old (limited to 60 kids per session) can look forward to a fun-filled time with the balloon-sculpting workshops, magic shows and receive a $5 Andersen’s ice-cream voucher plus a balloon home-kit when they present a $30 receipt. Shoppers can also take pictures of colourful balloon decorations.

Coin Making Workshop at Singapore Coin and Notes Museum

This workshop by Singapore Coin and Notes Museum helps children learn about how coins are made. Kids also get to make a coin and follow the museum guide on a journey into the world of coins and notes.

Junk Arcade parent and child workshop

This workshop by playlab.me integrates circuits and junk to make interactive cardboard games. Participants will learn to make simple circuits with LEDs and buzzers and be exposed to kids’ projects from around the world.

Stay in the Wood Camp by Kids’ Gallery

This camp by Kids’ Gallery include watching a play “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” by The Little Company, a day baking at Spexial Kneadz Baking School, a picnic in the woods and making crafts and going on a Bear Hunt.

ACT 3 Drama Academy’s ‘Stories in rhymes’

ACT 3 Drama Academy’s ‘Stories in rhymes’ March holiday workshop for 3 to 6 year olds titled ‘Stories in rhymes’ which will be held from 18 – 22 March 2013. During the highly-interactive five-day workshop, children will revel in the ingenuity of rhymes and become more aware of sounds which help to inculcate an early interest in reading and appreciating literary text.

For: Kids 3 -6 years old

Have fun with Snow and Ice

Discover the Science behind ice and water at snow city.  Create ice pops without a freezer and lift and ice cub using only a string.

For: Kids 7 -12 years old

Duration and Time: 2 hours workshop 11am to 1pm.  20 or 22 March 2013
Cost: $22 per pax

Learn to Skate and enjoy a Carnival

Skate with Us is organizing a Full Magical Wizardry Skate Camp Besides learning how to skate, the full day campers get to enjoy fun carnival games on skates. They get to drink lemonade and play awesome carnival games like Can Can, Dart Balloon, Hoopla, Lollipop game and Circle Race on skates!

For: Kids 3 -12 years old
Where: West Coast Park or East Coast Park
Duration and Time: 4 Half Day Camps or  1,2 or 4  Full Days camp. 9am to 5pm.  3, 4, 518, 19, 20, 21 March 2013

Little Scholars Camp: Writing, Speaking & Comprehending With Ease

The 3 days course by Confucius Institute, Nanyang Technological University guide students on the essential knowledge and skills to read, write, speak and listen. The themes for the program are”Wonderland of Words & Phrases: Putting Our 5 Senses in Action (Primary 1 – 2)”, “I Am A Little Reporter: Exercising Thinking Skills” (Primary 3 – 4) and “I Am An Ace Reporter: Learning and Applying for Excellence(Primary 5 – 6) ”

For: Kids 7 -12 years old (Primary 1-6 )
Where: Confucius Institute, NTU.11 Slim Barracks Rise (off North Buona Vista Road) NTU@one-north campus, Executive Centre, #08-01
Duration and Time: 3 days camp 9:00am – 12:30pm (Writing Programme)  2:00pm –  6:00pm  (Oral and Listening Programme)  20 to 22 March 2013
Cost: $280 per programme. or $450 for both programs.

There are plenty of places to visit and things to do. Here are some ideas:

Visit a Farm, check out the Museum or Galleries, go to an Indoor playground, have some fun at a Water play place, get some fun at Outdoor playgrounds
