[Updated 11 November 2017*] There is no shortage of outdoor playgrounds in Singapore. Almost every HDB estate and public parks have them. While kids usually love any playground they get to play in, there are some amazing FREE playgrounds that make a trip to the playground feels like a special outing.

Outdoor playgrounds that rocks!
We can’t pin-point the “best” playground as they are all amazing in the amount of play they offers and here are some of our favorites.
New! Playgrounds at Admiralty Park
Inclusive, with loads of slopes and varying terrains and slides, this playground is simply amazing.
Children’s Playground at Marine Clove
This new playground is inclusive, huge and include many kinds of play.
The best part..this 3,500 sqm playground with a marine theme is surrounded by eateries and include toilets, sinks and shower facilities tailored to young children.
The Playgrounds at Gardens By the Bay
1 hectare of playgrounds. There are 5 play areas. 2 wet play areas for toddlers and older kids, a tree-house and adventure trail and a toddler dry playground.
Adventure Playground at Pond Gardens, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park
This unique playground have a number of interesting structures that is is great for kids 5-12 to climb, run and have lots of fun.

Hort park Playground
There are several playgrounds by different companies in Hortpark which gives a good variety and plenty fun for our trips there. Our favorites are a boat like structure where kids can play pretend and a helix inspired structure that offer loads of challenge to a growing kid’s motor skills.
Imm Roof Garden playground
Mall playgrounds like the one at IMM can make a trip to the mall a fun outing for all. There are two dry playgrounds and a wet playground here.

We love the tree house like tower and slides as well as the fruits and vegetables inspired structures which the kids love to climb on.
Jacob Ballas Children Garden Playground
There is a small sand playground with interesting play like drums, see saw and scope. However, the whole garden is a playground in itself with multiple play areas. There is a tree house with slides where the kids never get enough of, maze and other interactive features around the park.
Pasir Ris Park Adventure Playground
This is really a large park with many many playgrounds and structures for practically every age group. Stay with your favorite play area or explore them all. We can stay there for the whole day.

The toddler’s play area is just one of the many play areas the playground has.
Tiong Bahru Park Adventure Playground
A huge train structure with slides sits as the center piece of this playground which also have features like a maze, a merry go round, swing, flying fox and plenty of sand for the kids to play with.
West Coast Park Adventure Playground
Like the playground at Pasir Ris Park, this one have multiple play areas that offers different play structures. More than seven play areas in fact in total after its upgrading.

The toddler’s play area has a ship link to towers and fortress which provides hours of fun and pretend play.
More Free Playgrounds?
Besides the playgrounds above, there are also many water playgrounds and playgrounds at shopping centres for a day out with the kids.
