When it comes to a short last minute vacation, Bintan got to be one of Singaporean’s favorite getaway. In the case of Bintan Lagoon Resort, a 30 minute ferry ride brings you right to the hotel, making travel a breeze.

The ferry terminal and the rooms
The ferry terminal is just for us and getting to the hotel is really fast compare to our other Bintan trips. The rooms are big and spacious, with a tatami day bed on a platform and my boy fell in love with it the moment we enter the room. There’s a balcony too overlooking the greenery and sea too which can be very relaxing.
The pool
There are two swimming pools over here. A kids pool with a looong slide and Water Bubble Rollers
and an adult pool. We actually like the adult pool better as the kids slide is quite gentle and the water bubble rollers are pretty expensive.
The adults pool also have basket ball net and a goal post as well as balls to play with. We can also have our lunch sitting in the pool at the pool side bar.

The beach
Nice white sand and water that’s pretty clear but beware of jelly fishes. We saw the hotel staff net quite a few. There is a restaurant near the sea which offers a pretty good view in the evening.

Activities
Laser Tag, cycling and ball games are available at the activity center. It’s Singapore pricing but we pretty much have the place to ourselves as we went during non peak periods

Conclusion
Food and activities can get expensive here compare to other parts of Indonesia as you pretty much pay in Singapore Dollars over here and some activities are even more expensive than in Singapore.
The least expensive food we found is at the pool bistro, so we can have swimming and lunch at the same time. While the breakfast buffet is noting to shout about, the Italian and Rice restaurant by the Beach offers yummy options.
It’s relaxing place for a short trip and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
