Fun, Art and Inspiration at the Museum

We finally made it to the Art Garden at the Singapore Art Museum just a few days before the end of the exhibition. I was a little apprehensive that the boys will be zooming around and causing havoc among the exhibits but many of the exhibits were made just for that. Here are some of the pictures we took from our little adventure and art feast. The exhibit ends on 30 August, so the Hari Raya Public Holiday open house might just be the perfect time to check this place out.

The tree of love is a visual feast to behold.

Made with Papier-mâché animal dolls by the artist and children from non profit organization, this interesting sculpture is interesting and inviting with the many dolls and figurines on it.

The kids have lots of fun adding their words on the sculpture.

You can make fruits out of paper fruit template !

The boys have lots of fun dressing the giant paper dolls.

The giant birthday cake is another big attraction. They love playing with the decorations.

The room is intriguing with the modular toy train track, animals and trucks.

The kids love this colorful room, pushing the cylinders stools and having lots of fun among themselves.

They love dropping the large coloured discs and collecting them after wards in little baskets.

The idea is that you can form pictures using the colour discs.
