For non citizens, 18 May is still an open house day. Yes. Free entrance for every body.  So this is a perfect time to get kids in touch with history, art, culture and natural history.

18 May also marks the begging of Children’s Season 2013 which will take place from 18 May to 21 July 2013. We enjoyed the Children’s Seasons activities in the pass years and are looking forward to what the museums have install for this year.

The museums that are having open house include most of the museums under NHB:  Asian Civilisations Museum, Memories at Old Ford Factory, National Museum of Singapore, Peranakan Museum, Reflections at Bukit Chandu, Singapore Art Museum and Singapore Philatelic Museum

Quite a number of smaller galleries are having their open house too., including Malay Heritage Centre,  and Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall
