Singapore City Gallery -All about Planning a City

With a few hours to spare on a school holiday, we decided check out the Singapore City Gallery at the URA Centre. The place is very accessible, being less than 10 minutes walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT.

We started on the first floor which have nice miniatures of the city and a miniature Singapore complete with signs of the MRT stations, prominent buildings and we have some fun finding where we stay on the giant 3D map.


The features of many of the buildings in the city is presented in this interesting lighted presentation.

The second level have an interesting corridor with info-graphic of our city at different eras.

SingCity Game

A favourite is the SingCity Game. You can play with up to eight other players to see how you can meet the needs of a city-state with limited land and other constrains.

We get to experience what it is like to plan a city with this interactive and entertaining game.

Almost all the buildings we know were shown here and they look just like the real thing.
