Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden aims to cultivate an appreciation for plants and the environment. The garden is a unique and interactive fun place, where children up to 12 years of age can discover how plants provide their daily needs.
The garden has a swaying Suspension Bridge, Tree House, a Melting Maze as well as a playground with sand and many interactive features to keep the kids busy.

This redeveloped enclave along East Coast Park has a 3,500sqm outdoor playground children’s playground with a range of play equipment suitable for children of varying ages.
There are also plenty of eateries including Babalicious, Hill Street Coffee Shop, McDonald’s, My Briyani House and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
Sembawang Park is a 15 hectare park at the end of Sembawang Road.
There is a Jetty, Boardwalk overlooking the sea and a battle ship playground for kids 6-12. The Battleship Playgound comes with what looks like gun turrets and propellers. There are also plenty of rope ladders and rock climbing walls
This indoor playground comes with play structures that are designed to be safe and fun for children aged 18 months to 12 years old. There is a trampoline, tunnel slides and obstacles for kids to explore.
Good for a half day hike. There is a visitor centre with exhibits, wash room and water cooler near the entrance.
Up the Hill and Down the Caves at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
You can go for nature walks, visti Sally Port, ASEAN Sculpture Garden, Fort Canning Green (The Old Christian Cemetary), Spice Garden, Keramat Iskandar Shah, Archaeological Dig and Exhibition Area, Maritime Corner@Fort Canning, Parit Singapura and Princess Pond.
VivoCity have a wonderful playground. There are plenty to play with… Happy Paddle Boats at Level 3 Sky Park! (Small boats are available at SGD8 and SGD10 for 10 and 15 minute rides respectively) Mini Express Train available at $6* per ride. Tickets can be purchased at the starting point located at The Promenade (near SingKids #01-171-174). And there is a kids club for 3 to 12 years old which is Free if you accumulate $200 of spending in a year.
East Coast Park has a total land size of 185 hectares, and a scenic coastline that stretches over 15 km. There are many eating and lifestyle hubs there.
Lower Seletar Reservoir Park has a Family Bay with a new performance stage, a water play area, a bioswale rain garden, as well as a Heritage Bridge. The park is also popular venue for kayaking and dragon-boating.
Great to attempt with older kids. It’s a long walk with few rest stop in between. The distance to the entrance of the TreeTop Walk is approximately 4.5 km (1.5 – 2 hr walk) from MacRitchie Reservoir Park and 2.5 km (45 mins – 1 hr walk) from the car park at Venus Drive. A round trip including the TreeTop Walk is about 7 km to 10 km (3-5 hrs depending on your walking pace).
This is a great place to start to experience the Henderson Waves and Forest Walk. There are also a great skyline view of the city from the Terrace Garden and plenty of opportunities to sport a squirrel, butterfly and a variety birds.
