September school holidays are around the corner! The week long break starting  from opportunity to expose kids to activities that they normally do not engage in. Or use the opportunity to catch up on the academic stuff is necessary.

Enjoy some coloring Fun followed by watching two episodes from the second season of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series on a large screen with your family for free!

Here are some programs we like for  kids in kindergarten,  preschools and primary school.


Fun@Giggles and Inspire Mum & Baby are having trial kids yoga lessons this holiday. Learning yoga promote flexibility and endurance and improve concentration skills.

Fun with Mat Yo yo!

 Singapore Media Academy has Fun with Mat Yoyo class that uses material from the popular children television series in an interactive way to develop children’s performing skills to enhance creative and confident expression. The course is available in English and Mandarin and  includes learning about song and dance, acting and character dramatisation, body language, voice projection and vocal power and performing for cameras

Modeling Clay and Foam Craft Fun

Happy Willow have a Royal Party Workshop where kids make Royal Cupcakes and a Royal Teapot using colourful modeling clay. Kids will also get to decorate their own foam crowns or tiaras! Workshop kids also get UNLIMITED playtime at Happy Willow!

Make a Race Car Out of Clay

Clay Cove is conducting a 2 session course where kids can make and paint a race car using clay (the kind that will be fired in a kiln after which you can paint glazes over )

Two by Two Schoolhouse have a 3 day camp Magical Moonfest Camp where kids get to make moon cakes, experience Chinese Calligraphy and painting and experience Chinese mythology through Speech & Dram, a drumming workshop with traditional Chinese drums. They will also make learn how to make lanterns with recycled materials.

There are plenty of places to visit and things to do. Here are some ideas:

Visit a Farm, check out the Museum or Galleries, go to an indoor playground, have some fun at a water play place, get some fun at outdoor playgrounds
