When it comes to the month long break in June (it falls on 31 May from Saturday 1st June to Sunday 29th June), planning early for a trip overseas , or putting kids in classes to occupy them never hurts. There are  now many exciting new camps, classes and workshops  to choose from and we like:

All in one Camps

Kids can enjoy many activities in this kind of camps . Some camps providers combine sports, dance, art and craft and dramas while others create theme base camps that combine a number of activities.

Camp Asia’s multi-activity camps

Camp Asia offers fun and exciting mulch-activity camps besides their  of specialist camps.   Kids can take part in a multiple activities  each day, including arts & craft, soccer, basketball, tennis, drama and dance.

Kids create stage props, work on their dance moves and cook up a superhero meal in this camp that combines dance, theatre, visual and culinary arts.

June Dance Immersion at Rhapsody Dance Centre

Learn ballet, jazz, contemporary dance, tap and hip-hop all in one camp! Kids get to try a variety of dance styles and have lots of fun while they are at it.

Adventures With The Little Bat in Mandrain

The little Bat explores the forest and learns new tricks from the swallows, ducks, frogs and bees.This programme incorporates stories, music and movement, nursery rhymes and traditional Chinese ink painting to to ignite children’s interest in the Chinese culture to bolster their appreciation for Mandarin and their oral communication.

Toys, Puppetry and Nursery Rhymes – A Wild Rumpus

Embark on a journey of discovery with the King of Wild Things as he travels to meet creatures from different places within the wild kingdom. Children will have the opportunity to develop listening, reading, writing and speaking skills through phonic and world games,comprehension activities and the creation of a daily adventure journal of the King’s encounters. They will also be guided in making their own puppets and encouraged to stretch their imaginations as they shape the unique characteristics of their own puppet.

Gets hands on with Invention and Robotics

Experiment with Electricity

ems2kit have a series of Electricity and Magical Magnet Workshop which comes with a nifty learning kit.Kids get to do cool experiments like building a simple electric circuit to light an electric bulb.  They go on to use the circuit to learn stuff like whether connecting more batteries in parallel will affect the brightness of a bulb in a circuit  and what are electrical conductors and insulators. Student will be bringing back the magnetism or electricity learning kit worth $35.90 after the workshop and continue with their exploration at home.

Discovery Vacation Camps have a number of cool science camps that help the kids learn science while having fun. There is a variety of classes for Primary 1 to Primary 6 pupils. Choose from a variety of topics and projects.  Each camp include outings to the places such as the  Pet Farm, Biscuit Factory and Wetlands & Mangrove. Skate with Us is organizing a Superheroes Skate Camp. Campers get transform into their favorite Superheroes. Besides learning to skate, kids get to take part in exciting activities like the Superheroes Pizza Contest and the all new Superheroes Amazing Race on Wheels!

There are plenty of places to visit and things to do besides plenty of other activities specially design for the kids this year. Here are some ideas: Visit a Farm, check out  Museum or Galleries, go to an Indoor playground, have some water fun at a Water play place, and enjoy being outside at Outdoor playgrounds
