Marzipan Decoration at Ikea
Bring the kids to IKEA to decorate marzipans and be rewarded with vouchers! Limited to the first 50 kids per session per store.

It’s Child’s Play by the Peranakan Museum
Explore the new special exhibition based on Emily of Emerald Hill, a local Peranakan play by Stella Kon. See exciting drama performances and print your own postcards with designs inspired by Emily. Watch an engaging puppet demonstration and create your own puppet to bring home. Make your own tasty pineapple tart. These are just some activities kids get to take park in at the Peranakan Museum at “It’s Child’s Play – Children’s Season Weekend Festival”

Travel to the future with Lego

Art Garden 2012 at the Singapore Art Museum
Another program of the Children’s Season, Art Garden, which had been a great fun and engaging experience for us last year is back! We see some familiar favorites in the Art Garden visitor’s guide such as the “Dress me up” and the Rabbit Walter but most exhibits looks new and interesting. Children’s Season 2012 -Island Adventures
Children’s Season is organized by the national heritage involves a series of children-centric programmes and engaging family activities by its various museums. Island Adventures by National Museum of Singapore allow visitors to find out what it was like to travel on a ship to an island called Singapura 200 years ago and how Singapore has changed and developed over the years into the modern city it is today,

The Amazing Adventures of Marco Polo
Asian Civilisation Museum, as part of Part of Children’s Season 2012 presents “The Amazing Adventures of Marco Polo” an interactive adventure through the museum galleries and meet interesting characters from the past. Specially designed for our younger visitors with ACT 3 Theatrics, the tours will feature TV host Anna Belle Francis.

Science in the Mall – “X-ploring Dinosaurs!”
Check out animatronics dinosaurs, win tickets to the Science Centre and take part in hands on workshops at X-ploring Dinosaurs. Kids can can make a walking dinosaur model, a fossil cast of a dinosaur, do a dino dig.

Army Open House
Check out military gadgets and equipments, watch shows involving Leopard tanks from the Army, Chinook Helicopters from the Air force and exhilarating displays from the Navy’s fast craft unit, ride in a tank and take part in the Kidz Boot Camp. Kids will have the opportunities during the Army Open House to dress up as a soldier (in No.1 or No.4 Uniforms) and take part in a series of adventurous activities like a mini obstacle course, rides on mini military platforms and military-style face painting.

Explore how Chocolate is made at The Kindernomics Show
